The FERME de la VALLÉE
in Couddes
(2 kms 500).
Monsieur and Madame Trefoux make cheese from
the milk of their 160 white goats fed on the 60 hectares farm.
Fromage blanc, cheeses at the different maturing stages,
those to cook, with tomato, garlic, pepper, herbs, shallot,
including the small cheeses. You will be tempted by the smooth
and savoury “aperi-chevres”
Visits are possible
during milking times.

An evening in the vineyard

In July and August the Touraine wine-growers
offer 25 unforgettable evenings when a Touraine wine-grower leads
you, free of charge, around the foothpaths to discover the beauty
of the wine -producing countryside. A pause in the vineyard where,
while listening to the explanations, you share the passion of
a skill. Finally, after visiting the Touraine wine store, you
can appreciate tasting
the different wines with local foods.
